The Beginning of Shizenya
Every journey starts with a simple moment. Ours began during a regular lunch break.
We were working in an IT company — building systems, solving problems, and growing in our careers. Life was stable. The future looked secure. But inside, something felt incomplete.
I had years of experience in the IT industry and had also worked with an environmental company earlier. That experience stayed with me. I saw closely how industries impact nature — and how small conscious changes can make a big difference. Deep inside, I always wanted to start a business, but I was not clear about what.
My partner, Shivam, had clarity in his heart. He wanted to build a clothing and fabric business — but not something ordinary. Not just another fashion brand. Something meaningful. Responsible. Different.
One afternoon, during a casual lunch in our office cafeteria, our conversation shifted from “someday” to “why not now?”
That lunch break changed everything.
We realized our visions were connected:
